DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in Idaho\, Jeff Crosby has been sharing his unique perspective of Americana throughout the US and Europe over the past decade. After moving to Los Angeles CA in 2012\, Crosby landed 2 songs (“This Old Town” and “Oh Love\, Oh Lord”) on the hit FX series Sons of Anarchy which has led to the band continually performing over 200 shows a year throughout the US and Europe.\n\nAdditionally\, Crosby spent 2015-16 on the road playing lead guitar for Widespread Panic song-writer Jerry Joseph\, as well as for Austin Texas road warriors Reckless Kelly in 2019. Crosby has co-written songs featured on Austin TX band Micky & The Motorcars recent release Long Time Comin’ and Reckless Kelly’s American Girls/American Jackpot.\n\n\nAfter spending 3 years based in Nashville TN\, Crosby has returned to Idaho and will continue to tour with his band full-time in support of his most recent release NORTHSTAR (APRIL 2020) and the current single “Runnin’ Free” (MAY 2021) feat. SUMMARY:Tinsley Ellis - Naked Truth Tour
DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, February 9\, 2024\, Alligator Records will release Naked Truth\, the first-ever solo acoustic album from world-renowned Atlanta-based guitarist\, vocalist and songwriter Tinsley Ellis. The  new album is steeped in the folk blues traditions of Muddy Waters\, Skip  James\, Son House\, Robert Johnson and even Leo Kottke. To the casual  fan\, this might seem to be a new direction\, but for Ellis\, it’s an  extension of his music\, as he taps into the raw essence of the blues. \n“This  is a record I’ve always wanted to make\, and one that my longtime fans  have been asking for\,” he says\, noting he’s included an acoustic  mini-set in his concert performances for years.

SUMMARY:Fantastic Cat
DESCRIPTION:They said it couldn’t be done. Four different songwriters joining forces to form a single band? There was simply no precedent (outside of CSNY\, The Beatles\, The Traveling Wilburys\, The Highwaymen\, Monsters of Folk\, etc). And yet Fantastic Cat did it anyway\, defying the odds and teaming up to record their highly unanticipated debut\, The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat. Hailed by Rolling Stone as “a wildly satisfying collection of folk-rock\, country\, Americana\, and good old rock & roll\,” the album earned the vocal-trading\, instrument-swapping collective their national TV debut\, sold-out headline dates around the US and Europe\, festival performances everywhere from Sundance to Take Root\, and a song in the Paramount+ series Tulsa King. In 2023\, the unlikely four-piece collaborated with all-star producer Butch Walker on a 50th anniversary recording of Wings’ “Band On The Run\,” which prompted even more love from Rolling Stone\, who dubbed them “the Harlem Globetrotters of Americana.” \nIndividually\, each member of Fantastic Cat boasts their own impressive resume along with a litany of critical acclaim. The Guardian named Don DiLego “one to watch.” NPR said Anthony D’Amato “sings and writes in the tradition of Bruce Springsteen or Josh Ritter.” Rolling Stone called Brian Dunne’s latest record “the sleeper album of the year” and praised Mike Montali’s band\, Hollis Brown\, as “the soundtrack for a late-night drive through the American heartland.” Collectively\, though\, the four transcend their respective roots\, emerging as a velvet-clad rock and roll cooperative far greater than the sum of its parts. \nThey say some cats are born fantastic; others have fantasy thrust upon them. These guys are somewhere in the middle.

SUMMARY:Luke Bulla
DESCRIPTION:Luke Bulla has been singing and playing music most of his life. Touring with and singing in his family band from age four\, Luke took up the fiddle at seven. \nOver the course of the next few years\, he won the National Fiddle Contest (in Weiser\, Idaho) six times in his respective age categories. His seventh win came in the Grand Champion division at age sixteen\, making him the youngest to have earned the title at the time. Entering Nashville’s Grand Master Fiddle Championship at age ten\, Luke distinguished himself by being the youngest person to have made the top ten.  In addition to violin\, Luke plays guitar and mandolin\, and sings and writes songs. \nIn the spring of 1999\, Luke moved to Nashville to establish himself as a full time musician. He spent his early years in Tennessee playing fiddle in Ricky Skaggs’ band\, Kentucky Thunder\, which earned him his first Grammy Award. \nFollowing the Skaggs stint\, he became a member of the John Cowan Band. More recently Luke has performed and/or recorded with Brandi Carlile\, Jim Lauderdale\, Darrell Scott\, Alison Krauss\, Jerry Douglas\, Sam Bush\, Edgar Meyer\, Bela Fleck\, Bryan Sutton\, Kevin Costner & Modern West\, Russ Barenberg Trio\, Shawn Colvin\, Tony Rice\, Chris Thile\, Peter Rowan\, Patty Griffin\, Glen Phillips\, Rodney Crowell\, and Earl Scruggs\, to name a few. Luke was also a perennial instructor at Mark O’Connor’s fiddle camps in his early Nashville years.

SUMMARY:Albert Cummings
DESCRIPTION:For someone with the kind of background Albert Cummings has\, his confidence about his new music says it all. This is a singer and guitarist who has played with many of the greatest players of the modern era\, and received the kind of awards and recognition that few others do. Raised in Massachusetts and self-taught on the banjo\, it was a 1987 concert by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble that opened Cummings to a new world of modern blues and inspired him to take up the guitar. It didn’t take long from there for him to find his way to the front of the pack. In fact\, Albert Cummings’ very first album FROM THE HEART (2003) was produced by Double Trouble’s Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon and included the group’s Reese Wynans on keyboards. That had not happened before Cummings’ release.

SUMMARY:Leslie Mendelson
DESCRIPTION:Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Leslie Mendelson is supporting her most recent studio album ‘If You Can’t Say Anything Nice…\,’ as well as a solo acoustic EP ‘In The Meantime\,’ that was recorded during quarantine earlier this Spring. Described by Relix Magazine as an artist with “a loyal\, cross-generational audience that hugs the hippie\, hipster\, coffee shop and society crowds\,” Leslie’s timeless musicality and evocative songwriting indeed cuts a wide swath. All Music writes that Leslie evokes “1970s songwriter influences in the vein of Carole King and Carly Simon\,” while The Aquarian declares she is “the closest thing one can get to a truly honest musical experience.” \nLeslie Mendelson’s previous work\, including 2009 Grammy-nominated debut album ‘Swan Feathers’ and 2017 album\, ‘Love & Murder’ dealt with matters of the heart. When it came time to compose the songs that comprise ‘If You Can’t Say Anything Nice…\,’ however\, she and her longtime writing partner Steve McEwan set out to examine the anxiety stemming from the current socio-political climate with songs like “Medication\,” “I Need Something To Care About” and “Would You Give Up Your Gun.” It’s fitting extension of a more socially conscious outlook offered on “A Human Touch”—Leslie’s duet with Jackson Browne for the documentary film\, ‘5B\,’ released in 2019. \nIf Leslie Mendelson’s only collaboration with a legendary musician was Jackson Browne\, it would be a worthy point to celebrate. What’s truly telling is that Leslie has also drawn the attention of The Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir who recorded a duet with her on Roy Orbison’s standard\, “Blue Bayou\,” while no less than classic rock royalty The Who invited her to open two shows at Madison Square Garden last year. She was set to open three more dates for the band in 2020 that were unfortunately postponed due to the pandemic. With some of rock music’s most legitimate voices seeking Leslie out\, it leaves no doubt the rarefied air she inhabits as an artist.

SUMMARY:Jim Lauderdale
DESCRIPTION:Two-Time Grammy Winner \n“Jim Lauderdale is a consummate entertainer\, a sharp dressed man as well\, a terrific songwriter and a great singer.”– George Strait \n“He’s my favorite part of Americana music” – Ketch Secor\, Old Crow Medicine Show \n“He’s a man of great style\, an exceptional songwriter and tremendous singer” – Elvis Costello \n“Jim Lauderdale could easily be called a renaissance man. He’s a great singer\, great guitar player and there’s no way you could miss his work as a songwriter.” – Ricky Skaggs \nAt any given time\, you’re likely to find Jim Lauderdale making music\, whether he’s laying down a new track in the studio or working through a spontaneous melody at his home in Nashville. And if he’s not actively crafting new music\, he’s certainly thinking about it. “It’s a constant challenge to try to keep making better and better records\, write better and better songs. I still always feel like I’m a developing artist\,” he says. This may be a surprising sentiment from a man who’s won two Grammys\, released 34 full-length albums\, and taken home the Americana Music Association’s coveted Wagonmaster Award. But forthcoming album Game Changer is convincing evidence that the North Carolina native is only continuing to hone his craft. \n\nOperating under his own label\, Sky Crunch Records\, for the first time since 2016\, Lauderdale recorded Game Changer at the renowned Blackbird Studios in Nashville\, co-producing the release with Jay Weaver and pulling from songs he’d written over the last several years. “There’s a mixture on this record of uplifting songs and\, at the same time\, songs of heartbreak and despair—because that’s part of life as well\,” he says. “In the country song world especially\, that’s always been part of it. That’s real life.”

SUMMARY:The Faux Paws
DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED!  Unfortunately\, the band must deal with a family medical emergency\, so this show has been cancelled.  Tickets will be refunded! \n  \nThe Faux Paws have a problem. They’re a triangle band in a land of circles. Musically impossible to describe\, they don’t even fit into todays often hyphenated-genre world. No fan\, industry expert\, nor member of the band can seem to sum up this band’s sound in any kind of marketable way. They continue to remain a singularly unique outfit in the acoustic music community\, always on the fringes\, always memorable and with an increasing number of die-hard fans who feel like they’ve uncovered a secret. \nIs it bluegrass? Not usually. Old-time? Occasionally. Is it Celtic? Can’t quite say that. Is it Folk? Americana? Jazz? Singer-songwriter? None of the above\, but members of the Paws have deep ties to all of these traditions and blend their elements effortlessly to serve whatever musical idea is being presented. So what can we say? This band takes risks. They’re dynamic\, exciting\, sincere\, irreverent\, infectious\, and surprising. They move deftly between moods\, influences and instruments but always maintaining a “groove” that pulses through the music like a heartbeat (you may not always be aware it’s there but it gives the thing life). \nA Faux Paws live show is an explosive roller coaster ride that brings the audience along. Virtuosity on the fiddle\, mandolin\, guitar and saxophone\, sure\, but also vulnerability\, personal lyrics\, tight 3-part brother harmonies\, playful interplay\, intricately arranged details and soaring improvisations. With the considerable success and praise the band has seen since coming out of the pandemic the Paws decided to add long-time friend and collaborator Zoe Guigueno (Fish & Bird\, Della Mae) to their touring outfit on upright bass. Zoe only deepens the group’s already massive sound while freeing each member up for more creative expression on their various instruments.

To Chris\, music was\, and still is\, an unconditional companion. \nHis highly anticipated album titled ‘LET ALL WHO WILL’ was released on September 1\, 2023\, with critical acclaim from NPR\, NoDepression\, American Songwriter\, Hi Times and more. SUMMARY:Jeff PLankenhorn
DESCRIPTION:Jeff began playing guitar at age 10 – and he went on to keep playing\, mastering traditional acoustic guitar.  But he found his true passion in the slide or steel guitar. He studied music theory and composition\, and explored jazz\, funk and classical music\, at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. In his 20s\, he arranged horns in a 12-piece funk group and played guitar in a progressive bluegrass band. \nJeff followed his ambition to Nashville\, learning from notable bluegrass artists Uncle Josh Graves\, Gene Wooten and Jerry Douglas. Plankenhorn met Ray Wylie Hubbard on the street in Memphis at a Folk Alliance event in 1998. Jeff sat in with Hubbard that night on dobro\, and soon had a long-term gig crashing on Hubbard’s couch in the Texas hill country. Austin became home in 2001. \nA slide guitar virtuoso\, Jeff spent his early career backing the likes of Hubbard and Joe Ely\, Ruthie Foster\, Gavin Degraw\, Eliza Gilkyson\, Bob Schneider and the late Jimmy LaFave. In 2016\, he launched a new chapter as a solo artist. \nIn addition to being an accomplished singer-songwriter and all things strings musician\, Plankenhorn created his own signature instrument — dobro-meets-lap-steel guitar — dubbed “The Plank.” The patented slide guitar\, with a distinctive sound derived from the instrument’s square neck and electric guitar body — netted Plankenhorn Austin Music Awards 2017 “Best Miscellaneous Instrument” . Jeff’s 2016 album\, Soulslide features “The Plank”.

SUMMARY:The Lonesome Ace Stringband
DESCRIPTION:Masters of their trade\, The Lonesome Ace Stringband bring grit\, skill and abandon to Americana music\, bridging old-time\, bluegrass and folk traditions into a seamless hybrid of original material that is at once fresh and timeless. \nInstrumentation alone sets this Toronto-based trio’s sound apart: consisting simply of fiddle (John Showman)\, clawhammer banjo (Chris Coole)\, and upright bass (Max Heineman).  The spine-tingling harmonies and interchanging lead vocals only bring more magic to the equation. They’ve become festival favourites at Rockygrass\, Celtic Connections\, Winnipeg Folk Festival\, Merlefest and regularly tour the USA\, UK\, Germany and\, of course\, Canada. \nWith more than a decade of group music-making under their belts\, they’re releasing their fifth album\, a feisty and mighty collection of all-original material titled ‘Try To Make It Fly’ (October 13\, 2023). \nCall Lonesome Ace Stringband whatever genre you want – they are just unorthodox enough to be brilliant.

SUMMARY:The Young Dubliners
DESCRIPTION:THIS WILL BE DOPE!! \nAfter thirty years as one of the world’s leading Celtic Rock bands\, The Young Dubliners have begun work on their tenth studio album while still maintaining their busy tour schedule.  Having survived the crushing impact of the lockdown on their industry they have returned stronger than ever and determined to bring their fusion of Celtic and rock music to as many people as they can. \nWith a solid line up\, a new batch of songs and the help of their new agency\, Skyline\, The YD are excited to bring live music back into festivals\, theaters and clubs around the world. “We want to be the band who reminds the world how important a good gig can be to our sanity after what we’ve all been through” says Roberts. \nIn recent years the Young Dubs have appeared twice on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live\, had songs featured in TV shows (Sons Of Anarchy\, Human Target) and toured extensively as a headliner and as the opener for such a diverse list of artists as Collective Soul\, Jethro Tull\, Johnny Lang\, Los Lobos\, Chris Isaak and many more \n“Their sound defies categorization. The Young Dubliners can be seen as Ireland’s answer to Los Lobos\, with a similar combination of traditional folk music\, raucous electric rock\, and forward-thinking experimentation.” Allmusic.com

SUMMARY:The Steel Wheels
DESCRIPTION:The Steel Wheels have long been at home in the creative space between tradition and innovation\, informed by the familiar sounds of the Virginia mountains where the band was formed\, but always moving forward with insightful lyrics and an evolving sound. In 2005\, Jay Lapp (vocals\, guitars\, mandolin) and Eric Brubaker (vocals\, fiddle) joined lead singer Trent Wagler (guitar\, banjo) in forming the band as a vehicle for Wagler’s songwriting. They released several albums under Wagler’s moniker\, before officially adopting the The Steel Wheels name with the 2010 release of Red Wing. Quickly staking their claim as independent upstarts in the burgeoning Americana scene\, The Steel Wheels followed up this release with three more self-produced albums in the next five years\, before joining forces with producer Sam Kassirer for Wild As We Came Here (2017) and Over The Trees (2019). Kevin Garcia (drums\, percussion\, keys) joined in 2017\, bringing a new level of sonic depth and polish to the outfit. Newest member Jeremy Darrow rounds out the rhythm section and grounds the band as they continue to explore deeply rooted yet fresh folk rock sounds.  Having gained the experience of thousands of shows\, festivals and many miles on the road\, the stubbornly independent band has formed deep bonds with each other and the audience that sustains them. \nHere’s a little taster…

DESCRIPTION:NOTE: We posted the wrong date for this show – it will be November 4th\, not the 3rd. SUMMARY:EILEN JEWELL w/ special guest Nick Delffs
DESCRIPTION:THRILLED to have Eilen back at Brewminatti.  Hailed by American Songwriter as one of Americas most intriguing\, creative\, and idiosyncratic voices\, Eilen Jewell rises from the ashes on her captivating new album\, Get Behind The Wheel\, picking up the pieces of her shattered world and finding new purpose and meaning after watching her marriage\, her band\, and what felt like her entire career fall apart in a series of spectacular\, heartbreaking implosions. Co produced by multi instrumental wizard Will Kimbrough (Todd Snider\, Hayes Carll)\, the collection pushes the acclaimed singer and songwriters trademark blend of vintage roots noir into more psychedelic territory\, with spacious\, cinematic arrangements complementing her revelatory explorations of grief\, loss\, resilience\, and redemption.

SUMMARY:Laurie Lewis
DESCRIPTION:A Legend. \nHer voice is a rare combination of grit and grace\, strength and delicacy. Her stories always ring true. – Linda Ronstadt \nI’m so proud of this track Laurie Lewis and I recorded for her upcoming album. She is one of my earliest heroes and influences\, which I think you can hear in the way our voices blend together. Singing with her is always the biggest honor. – Molly Tuttle \nLaurie Lewis is one of my favorite fiddlers and one of the most all around inspiring musicians and people. She’s one of those musicians that sounds so authentically herself while simultaneously expressing universal emotions and the environmental concerns we all face. I wouldn’t be playing the music I play if it weren’t for Laurie Lewis. – Tatiana Hargreaves \nHere’s a fun one…

SUMMARY:The Bros. Landreth
DESCRIPTION:The Bros. Landreth welcome a new day with Come Morning\, an album that marks both a rebirth and refinement of the JUNO-winning band’s blend of North American roots music and harmony-heavy soul. \nThe most immersive\, emotive record of the Landreths’ career\, Come Morning finds brothers Joey and Dave lacing their melody-driven songs with layers of atmospheric synth\, organ\, and textured guitar. The group’s previous albums shone a light on their strength as a live act\, capturing the spontaneity and sonic stomp ofa band of hard-touring road warriors. If those records unfolded like snapshots of The Bros. Landreth’s nighttime shows\, then Come Morning sketches a markedly different picture\, showcasing the introspection and clarity that comes from a long (post-covid) period of rest. \nFor Joey and Dave\, rest wasn’t always an easy thing to find. After pursuing separate careers as sidemen\, they launched The Bros. Landreth with 2013’sLet It Lie\, a debut album that drew upon the shared soundtrack of their childhood —Bonnie Raitt’s blues\, Little Feat’s funky country-rock\, Ry Cooder’s eclectic instrumentals\, Lyle Lovett’s twangy traditionalism —for a sound that saluted the past while planting its flag firmly in the present. Let It Lie was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic\, winning the2015 JUNO Award for “Roots & Traditional Album Of The Year -Group\,” earning The Bros. Landreth a nomination for “International Artist of the Year” at the 2016 UK Americana Music Awards\, and receiving praise from heroes like Bonnie Raitt. Years of near-constant touring in support of its release left the brothers exhausted\, however\, and the band took a three-year break before regrouping for 2019’s ’87.

SUMMARY:Clem Snide
DESCRIPTION:We hold a special place in our heart for singer-songwriters – those folks who stand up on stage with nothing but a microphone and a guitar (usually\, but not always) and publicly discuss life’s ups and downs\, it’s victories and defeats all intertwined within deep\, emotive lyrics and engaging melodies. \nNamed for a William S. Borroughs character\, Clem Snide first emerged from Boston as a three-piece in the early 1990’s\, and the group would go on to become a cult and critical favorite\, picking up high profile fans from Bon Iver to Ben Folds over the course of three decades and more than a dozen studio albums. NPR highlighted the Israeli-born Eef Barzelay as “the most underrated songwriter in the business today\, with a sneakily firm grasp on poignancy and humor\,” while Rolling Stone hailed his songwriting as “soulful and incisive\,” and The New Yorker praised his music’s “soothing melodies and candid wit.”

SUMMARY:Amy Lavere & Will Sexton
DESCRIPTION:This is one of those shows that we probably don’t deserve…but so happy to get. \nAmy Lavere is a highly respected singer / songwriter / performer.  Besides Will Sexton\, she is a frequent collaborator with:\n– Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi All-Stars)\, Valerie June\, Shannon McNally\, Allison Russell\, Amy Helm and so many other amazing musicians.  Her recording catalog is papered with critical acclaim and she is an accomplished performer\, known the world over. \nHer most frequent collaborator (and husband) – Will Sexton – is Texas guitar legend. The San Antonio born Sexton was a musical prodigy who as a child moved to Austin\, coming of age in the city’s hothouse environment.  Over the past three decades\, Sexton has grown into a skilled musical polymath: an esteemed writer\, producer\, session player\, and solo artist. He grew up playing with the likes of Doug Sahm\, Joe Ely\, Roky Erickson and Stevie Ray Vaughan.  He’s laid down studio tracks for an impressive number of popular performers – and he shares writing credits with Waylon Jennings\, Joy Ely and Stephen Stills…just to name a few. \nBot together – Amy & Will make some incredible music which\, like I say\, we probably don’t deserve\, but we are SO happy to get.

Fullerton.  We aim to remedy that..and for good reason.  In 2021\, Blues Muse Magazine included him on a list of “75 Modern Blues & Rock Artists You Must Hear.”  Also on the list…Joe Bonamassa\, Kenny Wayne Shepherd\, Curtis Salgado\, Sonny Landreth…I mean…it just goes on and on.  His mostly acoustic playing has caused him to be mentioned in the same category as Ry Cooder.  He’s made a big name for himself in his home state of Colorado – where the Colorado Blues Society has recognized him for: \n– Young Performer (2016)\n  – Best Guitarist (2017) (2021)\n– Best Solo/Duo ( 2016\, 2017\, 2018\, 2019\, 2021)\n– Best Band (2017\, 2021)\n– Best Male Vocals (2017\, 2021)\n– Best Slide Guitar (2016 2017\, 2018\, 2019)\n– Best Songwriter (2017\, 2021)\n– Best Acoustic Act  (2017\, 2018\, 2021)\n– Best Local Recording  [“Kalamath”] (2017)\n– Best Local Recording [“Forgiver & The Runway”] (2021) \nHe’s expanding his footprint and we’re excited to have him play for us in Prosser.

SUMMARY:The Barefoot Movement
DESCRIPTION:The Barefoot Movement integrate bluegrass\, blues\, folk\, rock\, country and pop into music that’s delightfully fresh. Shows feature original songs and reimagined cover tunes with tight three-part harmonies and hot instrumentals. \n“They perform barefoot\, yes\, but what you’ll remember is how the music moved you. Lead singer Noah Wall’s voice can blast you backward as well as pull you in\, and the rest of the band has the harmonies and instrumental chops to support that ride.” — News & Observer \nThey’ve been with us twice before – but always a treat to have them back!

SUMMARY:Smokey Brights
DESCRIPTION:Smokey Brights is a story of love and pizza. Husband and wife duo Ryan Devlin and Kim West first met slinging pies at a south Seattle restaurant in their early 20s. Devlin\, a fixture in the Northwest’s DIY rock scene\, and West\, an aspiring law student\, started writing and recording songs in Devlin’s bedroom during a cash-strapped Christmas as their friendship blossomed into romance. Pulling from their mutual love of 70s rock\, vintage synthesizers\, thrift store treasures\, and early MYV\, the pair’s bond permeated their songcraft. \nThe duo\, joined by drummer Nick Krivchenia and bassist Luke Ragnar\, create a stoney blend of Northwest rock & roll and razor-sharp disco grooves that Impose Magazine calls “a modern bit of AM radio gold.” \n“SMOKEY BRIGHTS ARE THE BEST BAND IN SEATTLE RIGHT NOW.”\nSTEVEN GRAHAM\, 107.7 THE END

SUMMARY:Peter Case
DESCRIPTION:“I try to take things I love and use them in a new way\,” said triple Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Peter Case of his 16th solo album Doctor Moan. Case brings his considerable songwriting ability to an 11-song collection\, largely performed on piano\, including his first solo recorded instrumental. Released by Sunset Blvd Records on March 31\, Case’s piano-based songs are emotionally\, sonically and stylistically rich. As a founding member of the early punk era trio The Nerves\, in 1977 Case toured the nation sharing bills with the Ramones\, Mink DeVille\, Pere Ubu\, and Devo. The Nerves single “Hanging on the Telephone\,” was covered by Blondie. In 1979\, Case formed the Plimsouls\, a record-breaking live act in California\, recording albums for Planet/Elektra and Geffen. Their independent single\, “A Million Miles Away\,” entered the Billboard charts and remains a garage rock standard\, performed by bands around the world. The band performed in the cult classic film Valley Girl and the Nerves and Plimsouls timeless teenage rock ‘n’ roll continues to appeal to fans of each new generation. After the Plimsouls\, Case rediscovered his musical roots on his self-titled solo debut\, produced by T Bone Burnett. The New York Times declared Peter Case the best album of 1986. It earned a five-star Rolling Stone review and a Grammy nomination. As one of the first songwriters of his generation to turn from rock music toward an acoustic sound\, Case also helped usher in what became known as Americana music.

SUMMARY:Rachel Baiman
DESCRIPTION:Rachel’s last show at Brewminatti (3/22)\, was one of our favorite shows of the year.  She’s touring to promote her latest release – Common Nation of Sorrow. \nIn contrast with her previous work\, Baiman is the sole producer of Common Nation of Sorrow\, which she recorded in her hometown of Nashville. She leans heavily into her bluegrass and old-time sensibilities on this new record. “In some ways\, this is a homecoming project for me”\, she says. “I wanted to explore these songs based on who and where I am right now\, with the town and the people who have raised me musically using the music from the place I’m singing about ”. \nRaised in Chicago\, Baiman made her way to Nashville at 18 with the dream of being a professional fiddle player and has since released two solo records and an EP\, alongside session and side-person work with Kacey Musgraves\, Kevin Morby\, and Molly Tuttle among many others.

SUMMARY:Terry Robb Trio
DESCRIPTION:What can we say about Terry.  He’s almost our artist-in-residence\, having played for us numerous times before.  But it never gets old.  Living Blues Magazine says Terry is “one of our finest acoustic guitarists today.”  Of course they’re right.  Blues Blast Magazine says Terry is “top of the heap of acoustic and electric pickets globally.  He is a force to be reckoned with.  Yep. \nBut this time – Terry is bringing s couple of sidekicks to lay down some sweet rhythmic background\, freeing him to explore and play around the fretboard even more.  And we can not wait. \n

SUMMARY:Luke Bulla
DESCRIPTION:Luke may be best known as the fiddle-shredding sidekick in Lyle Lovett’s Large Band.  But before that\, he was a six-time National Fiddle Champ at various age levels\, before becoming Grand Champ at age 16.  After moving to Nashville\, he spent time in Ricky Skagg’s Kentucky Thunder band\, which earned him his first Grammy.  He has played or recorded with a veritable Who’s Who of musicians – including Brandi Carlile\, Jim Lauderdale\, Darrell Scott\, Alison Krauss\, Jerry Douglas\, Sam Bush\, Edgar Meyer\, Bela Fleck\, Bryan Sutton\, Kevin Costner & Modern West\, Russ Barenberg Trio\, Shawn Colvin\, Tony Rice\, Chris Thile\, Peter Rowan\, Patty Griffin\, Glen Phillips\, Rodney Crowell\, and Earl Scruggs and Mark O’Connor. \nWe could go on…and on…but we don’t want to embarrass him before he even gets here.  Needless to say\, this solo show is one not to be missed.
