DESCRIPTION:SUMMER CONCERT SERIES\non The Patio at WIT Cellars \nIf you’ve ever asked the question:\nWhat would happen if a bunch of top-notch blues musicians from Brazil decided to cover some Beatles tunes?\n \nHere’s your answer.  Blues Beatles’ captivating performances make them an “instant sensation” everywhere they go\, touring worldwide in Brazil\, the United States\, and Europe! Blues Beatles started during the breaks of the rehearsals of Today – an original band that Marcos Viana\, Flavio Naves\, Lancaster Ferreira\, Bruno Falcão and Fred Barley started in 2010. Marcos\, the singer\, would invariably pick up his acoustic guitar and start playing Beatles songs. The other members of the band were amazed at how natural the songs sounded\, as if he had written them himself. The reason for this was that Marcos really identified with the songs and never imitated John or Paul. He simply sang with his own voice and from his heart. Being blues players the rest of the band started adding their blues twist to these “break songs”. One day Lancaster said: “why don’t we mix these two things we love to play? We could call this Blues Beatles!”Everyone loved the idea and together they started the Blues Beatles in 2013. When you listen to the band’s music\, there’s a dash of Zydeco\, a pinch of rock\, and a sprinkle of Americano. It’s culture that drives his passion\, and as they say\, there is no place like home.  Tyron\, a Houma native\, has a passion for the Cajun culture that has delved into his music\, “There are so many great musicians from our area and I think we take that for granted because we grow up with it\,” he said. “It goes all the way back to my grandpa’s house. He was an unbelievable harmonica and fiddle player…music was born with us.” Other than the folk influence from his grandfather\, his family frequently listened to Classic Rock\, which the fusion is evident in Tyron’s music today. Genre isn’t the only diverse aspect of Tryon’s music. Although his love is playing guitar\, he also plays the keyboard and accordion.
